Originally designed by Tom Ribbeke to eliminate the extra work of cleaning up the channel for the binding caused by the radius, this machine works perpendicular to the plane, which prevents the back radius from throwing the trimmer off track. The body cradle is included.This Binding Cutting Fixture uses a standard laminate trimmer which employs a pilot fixture or a piloted bearing bit. The fixture is fully adjustable for width and depth of cut. if you are making odd sized guitars or ukuleles please let us know and we can either make a spare carriage for you or alter the existing carriage.
The stewart Macdonald cutter Part number 1298 works best with the machine
Trimmer not included. I include the nylon base for your trimmer. You nay need
to do modifications to make yours fit. Most common trimmers will fit the unit.
