Various species of Spruce tops will be listed here as the become available. Some species listed will be Engelmann, Sitka, Lutz, Carpathian, and Bear Claw Sitka. Torrefied Adirondack Red Spruce will have it's own page here.
The Torrefication processas explained to us involves drying the boards to remove the moisture. Then removing the oxygen and drying at a higher heat, followed by slow cooling and reintroductiom of air/moisture. The entire proceess takes about 3-4 days.
