Argentine Osage Orange
Maclura tinctoria (syn. Chlorophora tinctoria, Morus tinctoria)
Heartwood is golden to bright yellow, which almost certainly ages to a darker medium brown with time: primarily due to exposure to UV light. In terms of mechanical and acoustic properties, it's about as close to Brazilian as any wood you'll find. It does tend to be chippy, so pre-scoring the binding routs is a good idea, for example. Other than that it's fairly straightforward to work with. This imported wood tends to be available in larger sizes, and with less knots or twists than the domestic species.
