Monkey Pod’s golden amber color with dark streaks resembles Koa. Tonally it is quite similar to Mahogany and has been used by some builders as a top wood. The figure in Monkey Pod can be quite spectacular and exhibits a beautiful chatoyance when finished. Quickly becoming a favorite with many builders.
