(Marmaroxylon racemosum)
An elegant hardwood from Suriname in South America, with a high density and an extremely beautiful grain. Marblewood has the density and definition of hard maple, with plenty of clarity in the highs and firmness in the lows, but with it's own enhanced tonal depth. All in all a fine tonewood.
