Granadillo (CS)

Botanical Name:  Platymiscium pinnatum Origin:  Mexico

Granadillo is a hard dense wood with very small pores. No pore filling is necessary. It has a bright tap tone and is often substituted for rosewood.  It exhibits shades of red, brown, and black that become darker and warmer with age.  The sets we have now exhibit a fire like figure that looks awesome under finish.
