Please note that most sets and other items are wiped with mineral spirits for pictures. Some exceptions being Indian Rosewood, most soundboards and some other darker colored woods like Ebony. We wipe the wood for pictures so our customers can see what the wood will most likely look like under finish. Many woods look very different from wet to dry. We feel this will help with coordinating other woods with a particular set. We do try to make the pictures look just as they do in real life but we are not photographers! Some woods are harder than others to get a good representation via photographs, but we do our best!
